Marilyn’s classes are relaxing and fun, combining time-tested culinary techniques and tips, all delivered in a friendly conversational style. Her infectious enthusiasm for healthy good food and simple yet imaginative flavor combinations draws students to seek out her classes again and again.

All sessions are held in her sleek, comfortable kitchen, and all food prep and cooking are done with standard equipment found in a typical home. Groups of up to 10 people can be accommodated quite comfortably, and classes for larger groups can be arranged in advance. Classes are demonstration style, leaving students free to watch, absorb and enjoy without having to perform themselves. Being able to closely observe, take notes, ask questions, breathe in the aromas and finally savor the results all adds up to a pretty tasty cooking lesson!

Arranging a Class Is Easy

Cooking classes in Marilyn’s beautiful home kitchen are a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion—birthday, anniversary, graduation, a wedding or baby shower—or even just socialize with friends. Classes also make a great team-building activity for employees or colleagues: everyone learns a new creative activity together in a fun setting away from the workplace. All classes are demonstration style, with plenty of chances to ask questions and observe techniques up close. Classes are usually 2½ to 3 hours, including time to enjoy the meal at the end.

Once you pick the date and time, Marilyn develops a customized menu just for your group: from basics to desserts. Fish, meat, side dishes, salads, soups, vegetarian, vegan—choose from all sorts of complete menus suitable both for serving to “company” and feeding your family every day.
